Terms of Service
Last updated September 28, 2026
These terms cover your use of Beam, a service for sharing your screen live with a client through a link. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Beam lets you start a screen-sharing session and send its link to the people you're presenting to. You need an account to present. Viewers don't — they just open the link.
Your account
Use a real email you have access to and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Beam is meant for business use by adults.
Acceptable use
Don't use Beam to share illegal content, malware or material you don't have the right to show; to harass or deceive viewers; to get into sessions or accounts that aren't yours; or to get around your plan's limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
Plans and payment
Beam has a free plan and paid monthly plans. Paid plans are billed in advance each month through Stripe, in US dollars, at the price shown when you subscribe. Any local-currency figure on the site is an estimate; your bank's rate applies. If prices change, we'll tell you before your next billing date.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to the free plan. We don't refund partial months unless the law requires it.
What you share
What you show on screen stays yours. Beam relays it live to the viewers in your session and does not record or store it. You're responsible for having the right to show it.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Beam running, but it's provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid Beam in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Beam and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll let you know by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Using Beam after that means you accept the new terms.
Contact
A support email for questions and data requests will be published here before paid plans launch.
